　　莎朗·奧茲（1942-）出生在舊金山，先后從斯坦福大學(xué)和哥倫比亞大學(xué)畢業(yè)，獲得博士學(xué)位?，F(xiàn)在紐約大學(xué)供職。1998-2000年度紐約州桂冠詩(shī)人。自1980年起已出版八部詩(shī)集，獲得包括艾略特獎(jiǎng)等多種獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)，但她同時(shí)受到的批評(píng)也最激烈。

　　出于對(duì)虛假的學(xué)院派詩(shī)歌的反動(dòng)，莎朗·奧茲從第一部詩(shī)集《撒旦的話》開(kāi)始就引人矚目，她的作品以堅(jiān)定的肉體性激烈地探究人性的愛(ài)與欲望，理想與悲傷。與前些年swaying我們國(guó)內(nèi)的“下半身”詩(shī)歌如出一轍。
